DAY RATING:

THREE THINGS
LAST CALL. The final two days to apply for both pronghorn and excess antlerless deer rifle season tags are today and tomorrow. Make sure you get your applications in at the NDG&F website for a shot at a shot at a speed goat or doe this autumn.
NEXT SHOT. Up next in the world of shooting sports is the North Dakota 4H State Shoot in Bismarck on Aug. 11. Consisting of 200 targets over three events – trap, skeet and sporting clays, the event costs young shooters just $35.
BIG NUMBERS. Good news for waterfowl hunters as the NDG&F released their spring duck brood numbers, which showed not only an upward trend (up 12% overall) in the number of young on the prairie pothole scene, but also that the quality of wetlands had improved coming out of the drought in 2017.
Stay Sharp!
