DAY RATING:

THREE THINGS:
SOLID SOAK. Just in time for the turn to fall, a drencher of a system will move through the area tonight and tomorrow, dropping up to an inch of rain in parts of the region.
TAGGED. Over 900 turkey tags remain for the fall hunting season including some throughout a number of choice units in the state. The remaining tags go on sale Sept. 26 on a first-come-first-served basis via the NDG&F licensing page.
PULL! Speaking of tags – when cinching down fishing knots, use the tag end to tighten the knot up as much as possible. While an even pull on both will help with knots like the Palomar, on ties like the Improved Clinch and others, using the tag to tighten things up will weaken that portion of line, which is later clipped off – preserving the strength of the main line.
Stay Sharp!
