DAY RATING:

THREE THINGS:
TALK THE TALK. Looking to learn the language of bucks? YouTube has a wide selection of quick videos to help you communicate with aggressive deer this time of year. While some promote brands and models of calls, most clips provide good insight into making the most realistic sounds in the field.
LAST DITCH BOW. The new moon hits on Nov. 7, making Wednesday – with its calm winds, cooler temps and dry forecast – a good day for that final bow hunt before gun season! Thursday will also provide a good opportunity, if you’re not in transit to your hunting camp.
LAST DITCH GUN. While you eagerly await gun opener, don’t forget to mark your calendar for this season’s last-ditch weekend of firearms deer hunting, which also coincides with the Thanksgiving holiday (Nov. 22) again this year and the November full moon (Nov. 23).
Stay on Schedule, Stay Sharp!
