DRY DAY. Our one-day reprieve from the rain will be welcome, but we’ll struggle to touch sixty before the next round of precipitation douses the region. We continue to look ahead to the holiday weekend, a wrap on the CTL season, and an amazing bass landing in today’s Outdoors Roundup.
Featured Photo: GOOD GRIP. This largemouth bass came to hand a bit easier than the one in our Outdoors Roundup.

OUTDOORS ROUNDUP:
HOPE ON THE HORIZON. Summer may arrive for its unofficial start this upcoming holiday weekend as those across the region keep an eye on the long-range forecast, which shows a shot at 70 by Saturday. We’ll muddle through the mid-fifties and moisture for most of the week to reach it, however.
FINAL WEEK. The North Dakota State High School Clay Target League (ND CTL) enters its final week of competition as 1,696 shooters on 63 teams log their last rounds of the program’s spring season. The ND CTL State Tournament, an open-style event, is set for June 15 & 16 in Horace.
NEVER GIVE UP. Bass angler Lee Sandt has set the standard for hand-landings. After his line breaks, he dives in after a big bucketmouth and wrestles it up into his boat in a video that’s going viral.
