OUTDOORS ROUNDUP:
FEEL THE BURN! Things will be warming up this week, with highs heading into the 80s for the back half. A shot of rain is possible on Saturday, but other than light precip, things look pretty dry and warm.
PAINT BY NUMBER. The painted turtle is common through much of North Dakota and is one of the easy recognized reptiles in the state. Watch for them sunning on logs or boulders in rivers and lakes this time of year, and to bail quickly into the water when approached.
SIGN UP. More than 30 fishing tournaments and derbies are set up for the month of June in the Roughrider state. From east to west the events will highlight exciting community opportunities for walleyes, bass and more.
