COLD AHEAD. It’s a slow climb out of the single digits this week with a potential snowmaker Thursday into Friday. Get out while things are stable early on and keep an eye on the radar late in the week. We talk about the ever-increasing amount of sunlight and more in today’s Three Things.

BLANK CANVAS. Looking for another fun wintertime project? Print out eight photos from a site like Snapfish or your local 1-hour photo (or grab some of a buddy’s Facebook page, if making a gift). Grab an eight-window frame and a hot glue gun and make your own fishing and hunting memory collage. Stick on spent shotgun shells, beat up crankbaits, feathers and other outdoor items to remind you of the good times!
SUN DAY. Tomorrow the sun rises at 8 am for the first time this season! In total by the end of the month we’ll have gained another hour and a half of daylight, with the sun rising before 7:30 am and setting at almost 6:30 pm. Spring is on the way.
EAGLE EYE. With spring approaching, keep an eye on the many wildlife cameras set up by various state agencies monitoring eagles and other nesting birds of prey. These cameras provide a unique insight into the nesting, reproduction, feeding and nurturing processes in nature.
