THREE THINGS

YOU HAVE SEVEN DAYS.  With the deadline of June 6 drawing near, hunters in North Dakota have a week to get their firearms deer season applications in. As with all lottery license applications now, information must be submitted online via the NDG&F application portal.

CONFERENCE CALL.  Check out all the great shooting this year in the North Dakota State High School Clay Target League, with the announcement of top teams and individual competitors in each conference and the entirety of the league.  Don’t forget the state tournament is June 16 & 17 in Horace, N.D.  We’ll be there to celebrate this expanding program in the Peace Garden State!

VELVET OTIS.  Anecdotal reports are starting to roll in of antler development on area bucks.  That means it’s time to get those trail cameras out and start tracking the growth of those racks on next autumn’s trophy.  We’ll have more this week and next on how to best prepare for your late-summer trailcam strategy!
