Daily Edge for Tue. Jun. 12

SUSPECT. One of these things is not like the other.  Which one is different? Can you tell? Those of us in the Sesame Street generation get it and can pick out the decoy from a mile away.  We go from silly to excited for the approaching trap tourney and talk more about that in today’s Three Things.

GUNS OUT.  The North Dakota State High School Clay Target League’s year-end State Tournament kicks off on Saturday with Class 1A competition followed by the 2A showdown on Sunday as the event expands to two days this year with increased demand and more than 900 kids expected for the event this weekend.

SUN’S OUT?  Unfortunately, early weather model runs for the tournament are looking wet and windy, particularly on Sunday with a chance for some troubling thunderstorms on Saturday.  We’ll keep our eyes to the skies as the days approach.  Could be worse…it could be snow?

RUNS OUT. Follow all of the great shooting, backwards runs and high gun tiebreakers this weekend on the official score tracker. Bookmark the site or download an app for real-time updates on all of the action for your school and favorite shooters and log in on Saturday and Sunday for rolling reports as scores come in.
