WHO’S JACKED? A great pre-fourth weekend is on tap and it all starts today with highs in the 80s and southerly breezes keeping things warm. A slight bump on a calm Saturday afternoon might bring some rain, but Sunday smooths things out once again. We look ahead to that and talk about what’s happening in today’s Three Things.

GET BUSY. Things are going to heat up on the water – and we’re not just talking summer temperatures. With the Independence Day holiday falling mid-week this year, expect next weekend and the one after to both be busy on many area lakes – especially with bites firing up as well. Get out there THIS weekend for some peace and quiet and good fishing – party next weekend!
ROUGHED UP! Check out the 49th annual Roughrider Trapshoot starting tonight at Bismarck’s Capital City Gun Club located 4 miles north of Bismarck. To get in on all the western-themed shooting action, stop out and register and sign up to continue the tradition of the Roughriders.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT. A number of non-profits were awarded special fundraising allocation tags for moose, elk, pronghorn and deer. You can find those results here. From there, simply google the organization, such as the West Fargo Hockey group and its elk tag raffle (going on now) to find out whether the permits will be auctioned, raffled or awarded in some other form through those nonprofit entities. Good luck!
