LEADER OF THE PACK. Check leader materials over and make sure you have enough on hand for the rest of the summer. Whether it’s tippet for fly fishing, or fluorocarbon for casting and trolling in those clear waters, check your stash and make sure you’re set to finish out the season.
STOCK UP. Typically, June into July provides a spurt of not only clay target sales, but also shells for trap and sporting clay shooting. Keep an eye on the various circulars in your area and move on your ammo and targets when the price point hits your range.
CLICK. It’s trail camera time! Go through your units and get them ready for the back part of summer, loading up on batteries, memory cards and readers for each one so they’re ready to capture Ol’ Otis strolling past.
