FISH ON! Near ideal conditions for family or serious fishing are setting up this weekend. The full moon of late July is known for the start of solid late-summer fishing. With walleyes on the bite, salmon on Sak firing up, bass stationed in shallow haunts and panfish bonanzas on every small lake right now this is the weekend to hit your favorite water!
TAKE A STAND. With cooler highs and light winds this weekend is also an idyllic one for setting up and moving deer stands. Sneak in and clear branches and limbs to open up shooting lanes or settle that new blind into a brushy area and get ready – we’re only a month out from archery deer season!
SHOOT, SHOOT, SHOOT. Whether shotgun, archery or rifle the calm conditions predicted will provide days with little to no wind and accurate events on the range. Get out and blast some clays, break out the Glen-Del buck or staple some paper at 200 yards and sight-in.
