STOCK UP. Now’s the time to get the ammo you need for your hunting seasons. Too often hunters wait until the night before opener and are left with what remains on the shelves (and its usually pretty sparse). Whether it’s upland or waterfowl, grab a box or two now and don’t be left wanting when the season kicks off.
GLOVE LOVE. Check over field gloves now and see if they need a replacement before the season starts. Whether just for gripping a favorite bow or shotgun, or providing camo coverage and warmth, a reliable pair of gloves provides better control of a firearm and keeps fingers flexible and toasty in cold conditions.
GET FIT(TED). Especially for younger shooters, make sure those shotguns fit properly before heading out into the field this fall. As bodies stretch and grow, or change shape for us adults, it’s important to make sure our firearms still fit in order to deliver a proper shot. Check with a gun shop to make sure you’re good to go with your chosen gun.
