BRIGHT SPOT. We’re watching the weather this week as rain, wind and snow put a damper on most outside activities. The one exception is Pheasant Opener on Saturday! We check that forecast out and get you geared up in today’s Three Things.

WEATHER (Bismarck Forecast):
Today: Wed 10/3 – Falling Temps. Hi 54, Lo 35, Wind NW30, G40.
Tomorrow: Thu 10/4 – PM Rain to Snow. Hi 43, Lo 25, Wind SE@13, G20.
SOLUNAR (Bismarck Times):
Moonrise Moonset Overhead Underfoot
12:51AM 4:31PM 8:44AM 9:13PM
Moon Phase: Waning Crescent (35% Full)
EDGE HOUR: 8:00-9:00AM. Moon overhead following sunrise with the lightest winds of the day will be your best bet for an advantage in the Edge Hour.
UGH! The weather starting Thursday through Friday evening will be a wet and sloppy mess. Cold temps coming down behind today’s winds will turn tomorrow’s rain into tomorrow night’s snow, and breezy conditions will make things messy for anyone on the road after 8pm.
OPENER! The pheasant opener on Saturday is the one bright spot in the weekly calendar, with temps cool in the thirties and low forties, light winds out of the east, and generally pleasant conditions.
CHECK IT OUT. Do you have your checklist ready for the weekend? Gun(s), ammo, dog and its gear, clothing (add a layer!), boots, GPS, cooler, and everything else? Lock those items down now to prepare for a great weekend!
