FIRED UP. ND’s biggest ice fishing tournament is up tomorrow as SB 2315 hits the committee today – don’t forget to EMAIL the committee and request a “DO NOT PASS” recommendation. We talk about that and a few items of “lighter” note, in today’s Three Things.

NET GAINS. We’re adding two to three minutes of daylight now as we get a month away from the solstice. You might’ve noticed on these last few, cold, clear nights that twilight seems to hang on til about 6:30! Think Spring!
THE BIG ONE. ND’s premier ice derby is up this weekend as the Devils Lake Volunteer Fire Department Ice Fishing Tournament is held on Six Mile Bay on Saturday. Over 160 prizes are up for grabs including a truck and a car. With the weather warming just enough, it should be a great event this year.
KEEP IT COMING. Don’t forget your power as a sportsman! On the many Fishing, Hunting & Public Lands bills out there, your opinion matters. Let your Senators and Representatives know how you feel and hold them to their oath to protect our hunting and fishing heritage set forth in the ND State Constitution.
Stay Sharp!
