MAD LOVE. Happy Valentines Day! Get your sweetheart something nice; may we suggest a new blaze orange vest or a pair of camo pants? We’ve got other suggestions and give you a reason to snuggle up in today’s Three Things.

DAY RATING:

THREE THINGS:
DECOYS. For spearers, a fish decoy is an attractor, but for decoy makers these objects become works of art into which hours of their passion is poured. Hundreds of great sites, including Duluth Fish Decoys, have all sorts of wild creations that make as great of a dry decoration as they do when they draw in fish.
BLUE WAVE. Don’t shoot the messenger, but judging by the giant blob of below average temperatures creeping across the western portion of the country in NOAA’s long range report, things appear to be staying chilly for a while. Time to break out the auger extension!
YOU’LL LIKE THIS. You might not be enamored with the continued conditions, but you have to love the fact we’re halfway through February. We’ll have our WSI review tomorrow at our 5/8 point (that really doesn’t sound like much, does it?) of the season as we start the downhill slide for the month.
Stay Sharp.
