MODERATION AHEAD? Keep those fingers crossed, but highs in the teens and twenties are predicted for the back half of next week. While we don’t trust a forecast over three days out, we’ll take any sign of hope at this point!

 

TOURNED ON.  On tap for the weekend are six ice fishing events spread out around the state, including the Bis-Man Reel & Rec tournament on Lake Audubon.

 

GET TRAINING.  While you’re waiting for spring, hit the treadmill for a monster of an outdoor run in McLeod. The Extreme North Dakota Sandhills Ultra Run Experience (END SURE) is set for Mar. 23 and is one of the state’s most challenging endurance runs with lengths of 25, 50 and 100K and a 100-miler.
