Daily Edge for Tue. Feb. 19

YOU CAN DO IT!  It’ll be a nearly 30 degree climb from our overnight lows, but it’s proof that Ma Nature still knows how to move the mercury, and maybe someday soon she’ll move it higher! In the mean time we talk trouble, survival and big bass in today’s Three Things.

THREE THINGS:

BETTER BEHAVED.  The NDG&F issued about 100 less citations last year, including just 48 criminal trespass tickets (down from 59 in 2017).  Some of the most common included not having a license, over the limit for fish and failure to have the required number of life jackets in a boat.

TIGHT. Have a waterproof container for all your adventures, where you can stash matches, kindling and other items to help start an emergency fire.  Combination tools with a compass, whistle and other features up your odds in an emergency and are easily placed in a tackle box or vest pouch.

UNDERWAY.  If you’re already thinking spring, the Bassmaster series is underway, with the “Granddaddy of ‘Em All” – the Bassmaster Classic – scheduled for mid-March. Check out what’s ahead and how the season has started so far at bassmaster.com.

Stay Sharp!
