SNOW WHAT? Light snow tapers early this morning as we continue the elongated drag through February (are we sure this month only has 28 days?). For much of the upper Midwest, this has become one of the snowiest months on record. We keep pressing on with today’s Three Things, talking natural miracles and more.
Featured Photo: Still White. While much of ND dodged the worst of yesterday’s massive system (sorry Fargo), the building banks show we have a ways to go. Simonson Photo.

THREE THINGS:
AWAY IN A STREAMBED. Science Daily details the weird occurrence of an almost impossible event – a stickleback giving birth to eggs which were somehow fertilized inside her. Just when you thought you couldn’t avoid one in your minnow bucket!
GET SHOOTING. The NDG&F is offering up grants to recruit and retain hunters through various events from mentor hunts to shooting sports events. With a cap of $3,000, these grants can help defray the costs of events put on by sportsmen’s, conservation and fraternal groups. Applications are due April 10.
TRUMP BUMP. Hunter Nation is offering up a five-day guided elk hunt with Donald Trump, Jr. among other trips with well known outdoor personalities and entertainers. Though the trip with the President’s son is perhaps the most noted in their fundraisers.
