RESULTS ARE IN. Spring turkey licenses have been awarded and more than 900 remain in units throughout the state. Check the results of the lottery at the G&F lottery page, and purchase remaining licenses on a first-come-first-served basis starting Mar. 18.
A NEW L.O.W. Sunday’s winds drifted in big waters, like Lake of the Woods and Mille Lacs in MN, stranding hundreds of ice anglers who were miles and miles off shore. Having winter survival kits, back-up heat sources and other gear to deal with two days on the ice (or more) is key when fishing larger lakes in case the weather turns.
