THREE THINGS:
HUGE CAT. A 130-pound mountain lion was taken near Ft. Ransom by Jarrett Christoferson of Litchville last week in the Sheyenne River valley area. KFYR confirms the story making its way around social media in recent days.
BIG LOTTO. The NDG&F has opened up the once-in-a-lifetime big game lotteries for Moose, Elk and Bighorn Sheep. Applications are online at the department’s Buy and Apply page and cost $5 each and remain open until Mar. 27.
MAYBE MODEL? Meteostar’s 16-day model shows a hint of spring two weeks down the road, with forecast temps in the 40s and maybe even 50? We’ll keep our fingers crossed as we shovel out from today’s snow event!
Stay Sharp!
