OUTDOORS ROUNDUP:

OH, DEER!  With all the excitement of the deer firearms lottery results hitting the web yesterday, it’s time to start planning for the hunting season.  This year’s deer guide is up via the NDG&F website with preliminary information for the fall.

BOUNCING ALONG.  DEO’s Nick Simonson shares tactics for identifying transition areas and catching more walleyes with a bottom bouncer setup as part of the Run Down at runnings.com.  They’re symbolic of summer angling and tons of fun to fish and feel things out below.

CUTE MOOSE.  This’ll brighten your day! A moose calf in Alaska makes a run (and another and another) through a lawn sprinkler while its mother gets a drink.  Consider your outdoors cuteness quota filled, thanks to Animal Planet!
