TWO HALVES. The week ahead sports a cooldown into the mid-70s for highs on Wednesday, as temps stay summerlike through Tuesday night. Things will remain relatively dry, making all your summer outdoor activities easier.
CAT ATTACK. The Drayton Rod & Reel Rally is set for next weekend, Aug 10-11, showcasing the incredible catfishing action on the Red River. The tourney is a two-day affair covering 30 river miles for big channel cats. Learn more at catfishdrayton.com.
BREAK-IN. Don’t forget to put new boots and gear through its paces now – especially if you’re on track for a destination trip in the coming months.
