HEY GRLI. Ducks Unlimited reports that the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative was extended to 2026 with funding increases up to $475 Million in that year to help repair and restore areas on and around the Great Lakes. So far, dozens of projects have been completed which improve wetland habitat, protect drinking water, and foster other key focuses of the GRLI.
