OUTDOORS ROUNDUP:
MORE WEATHER WHIPLASH. After a couple windy, cooler days we get right for the back half of the week, but don’t get comfortable. The bottom drops out on Saturday with highs in the 50s and an east wind.
EARLY OP. Youth, those active in the armed forces and military veterans will get first crack at waterfowl in North Dakota the weekend of Sept. 14. Open to kids 15 and under active-duty military personnel, and veterans, this special weekend celebrates young hunters and those who have served our country. Review the regulations for more information.
UP, DOWN UNDER. Video of a man fishing from a folding chair lifted over a lake by a drone is under investigation by Australian authorities; not so much for any angling violations, but more so due to the use of the drone. And yes…he actually catches something.
