OUTDOORS ROUNDUP:
MINI-DORIAN? It’ll seem like it today as more than an inch of rain is expected over the western half of North Dakota following Friday’s nice weather. The shift ushers in another sustained cool shot, bringing a more fall-like feel for the next week with highs mostly in the 60s.
MAKE THE MOST OF IT. If you’re cooped up in the garage, or ducking the rain in the den, use today to get your grouse gear in order for next weekend’s opener. Check your chokes if you’re headed to the woods or the prairie, have your dog collar charged and ready to go, and don’t forget to download or pick up the new PLOTS guide for all of your adventures!
MOOSE ON THE LOOSE. A moose was relocated from the middle of Memorial Stadium on the campus of the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, ND by local authorities, who utilized drugs which may remain in the system of the animal for up to 28 days. The NDG&F, at odds with the methods, released information to hunters and the public who may encounter the animal.
