Some forecasts say starting Wednesday night (Bismarck – 3”), others push potential as late as Saturday (Fargo – 15” plus!?). ULTIMATE WARRIORS. Stupid vandalism gives hunters and gun owners a bad name, and one of the most notable forms is the shooting of traffic signs and boundary signs. The NDG&F has launched a “Sign Warrior” program for its Hunters Ed program to help curtail the problem.
ON THE WATER. Old Town Canoe shares tips for packing for and hunting from a kayak. A non-motorized, stealthy way to target waterfowl, kayaks open up small waters to hunters.
NAWCA’ING IT OUT! DU has received funding to protect over 6,000 acres in Nebraska as part of this year’s NAWCA grant awards. One of the largest recent efforts by the group, the acquisition will connect multiple managed wetland areas already in place for migrating ducks.
