Daily Edge for Fri. 12/20 – Lock It In!

FANTASTIC FRIDAY.  A great weekend is setting up for anything outdoors whether you’re hunting, ice fishing or just enjoying the December thaw. Calm conditions will dominate the next couple of days along with some nice temperatures in the 30s and maybe even a brush with 40.  We cover that and more in today’s Outdoors Roundup.

OUTDOORS ROUNDUP:

BOAT REGISTRATION.  The NDG&F breaks down the new three-year cycle in boat registration as part of its weekly North Dakota Outdoors webcast.  New boat registration will be required at the turn of the calendar for watercraft in the state.

ALL CLEAR!  The snowfall map shows nothing in the next five days for precipitation and the long-range forecast doesn’t show much in the way of extreme cold!  Happy Holidays to hunters and anglers, indeed!

ANCHORED.  While this weekend might provide some calm conditions on the ice, don’t forget to invest in a set of ice anchors that can be screwed into the frozen surface.  When tied off with some paracord to a shack, they will help keep things in place when the winds do return to our region.
