OUTDOORS ROUNDUP:

GRANTED.  The NDG&F Dept. has grants available to new clay target league teams starting up this spring.  Up to $1,000 is available help developing programs get off the ground with safety and shooting gear.

OSCILLATING.  We’ve got a series of ups and downs in the back half of the month as things improve from Wednesday’s cold and windy conditions, but a few hints of winter remain in the long-range forecast.

SPEAR CHEATS?  The social sphere is abuzz with accused cheaters in a recent spearing contest on Lake Sakakawea hosted by Little’s Bar.  The host organization notes a pair of competitors who apparently broke all the rules in the event.
