SWEET SATURDAY! Perfect conditions for some time on the ice are setting up for your Saturday, so take advantage of those and the quarter moon for a bump in the bite.  We’ve also got awesome eagle news from the east, a tally of bad behavior at home, and a view to what coyotes eat in today’s Outdoors Roundup.

OUTDOORS ROUNDUP:

VIOLATORS. The NDG&F has released its review of game violations from 2019.  Failure to carry licenses led all offense categories and trespass among hunters fell to a recent low of just 35 offenses.

THERE’S AN EAGLE NEARBY.  The Minnesota DNR boasts the addition of sound to their world-famous eagle cam.  Currently, mama eagle is on her nest keeping an egg (the first in two years!) warm as we head toward spring.

PLAY COY.  QDMA details the interaction of coyotes, deer and humans in a great read on the furbearer’s dining activities.  As expected, a large percentage of coyotes’ scat exhibited signs that the canids dined on deer throughout much of the year.
