SUPERB SATURDAY! Things are looking great today as good weather aligns with a growing moon which will hit full on Monday. Get out on that late ice, or target those openwater opportunities that are starting to occur under dams and other stretches where fish will start thinking about staging. We’ve got more for your weekend in today’s Outdoors Roundup.

OUTDOORS ROUNDUP:
ON TARGET. This week’s installment of the NDG&F Department’s webcast highlights the upcoming state archery tournament for the National Archery in Schools Program (NASP). More than 10,000 shooters participate in the archery program schools throughout the state.
SPOOL IT. Not all superlines are the same. Some, like Fireline lay flatter on a spool, making them ideal for spinning reels. Others, like PowerPro are more rounded and keep that shape, allowing them to fill up a baitcaster like traditional round monofilament for easier casting. Consider these factors as you re-line for spring!
HOT STUFF. Today’s temperatures soar into the 50s and light winds will make things pleasant outdoors. The taste of spring fades on Sunday though as chilly north winds bring colder temperatures and a chance for freezing rain. Make today your outdoors day!
