DAY RATING:
OUTDOORS ROUNDUP:
FWS FEES SUSPENDED. For those refuges charging access fees, the US FWS has lifted all entrance costs. While visitor centers and offices may be closed, the lands are open to explore.
STILL SOME SNOW. The Red River Valley still has considerable snowpack, as 10-12 inches from this winter continue to melt slowly. That fact has helped alleviate flooding concerns for the region.
KNOT A DAY GOES BY. Pick up a new fishing knot every day while you’re idled or working from home. Grab a rope or a stretch of monofilament and learn new connectors for line-to-line, line-to-hook or other outdoor purposes at Animated Knots by Grog, one of our favorite online sites with a recent site upgrade!
