OUTDOORS ROUNDUP:

JIG ‘EM!  In spring, the jig is king!  Check over your tacklebox today and get those lead heads you need to get the job done for walleyes, pike and smallies.  Whether tipped with live bait or plastics, a solid selection of angling’s most inexpensive and versatile lures will help you better explore all of the opportunities in flowing water and lakes this season.

MOVING IN.  The Ducks Unlimited Migration Tracker has snow geese coming into the Dakotas at peak numbers, just in time for this ideal weekend.  Check out the reports and get the guns ready for a great hunt.

STILL SLOPPY.  The NDG&F Dept. reminds hunters in search of light geese that roads remain muddy and soft from all the moisture from last fall and this spring’s melting snow.  Drive with caution and respect and do your best not to get stuck!
