OUTDOORS ROUNDUP:
PULLING PADDLEFISH. The NDG&F Dept. has canceled the paddlefish snagging harvest season to help prevent the spread of Covid-19. Citing limited fishing areas and anglers often standing close together, along with the fish processing center not open, the season was scrapped.
ICE SAFETY. The Minnesota DNR reminds anglers and explorers around areas of receding ice to be extremely careful this time of year. As ice goes out and cold water seeps in along the shore, and the quality quickly degrades, safety is of the utmost importance.
SNELL IT! Looking to burn off these (hopefully) last snowy days with some lure making? Snell up some spinners. DEO has a quick tutorial and suggestions for making better snell knots on our YouTube channel.
