GOOD FRIDAY, INDEED. Our bright spot, like an Easter egg tucked into a tuft of brown spring grass, will be today as temps jump back up into the mid-50s before things cool off for the weekend.

OUTDOORS ROUNDUP:
PREVIEW THREE. The NDG&F Dept. has released its third spring fishing preview as part of its Outdoors Online webcast covering north central fisheries including Lake Audubon and the southeastern lakes and rivers including Lake Ashtabula and Spiritwood Lake.
FLUTTERBY. Roadside habitat is in the works between the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service and energy entities to benefit bees, butterflies and other pollinators. The program will open up right of ways along highways to planting of flowers and other plants.
BIG CHILL. Conserve those Cadbury Crème Eggs as you’ll need the calories for the chilly stretch setting up this week. We remain below average through next Thursday with the long-range suggesting a trip back up to average for the weekend of 4/18.
