OUTDOORS ROUNDUP:
MOVING STUDY. The NDG&F is tracking the movement of mallards in late summer as their motions during that stretch of the season are noted and intriguing. With super small tracking devices implanted in ducks with a quick surgery, the agency is keeping track of dozens of ducks traveling the upper stretches of the flyway.
ON TARGET POST COVID. The North Dakota Bowhunters Association announces summer tournament plans and social distancing efforts to reinvigorate competitive archery throughout the state this season. With tournaments scheduled for June 19 and July 11, the association is back on track to promote archery efforts in the state.
DON’T FORGET DEER! Tomorrow (Wed. 6/3) is the last day to sign up for a firearms deer tag in North Dakota. Log on to gf.nd.gov and click on the Buy and Apply tab to get it done and get in the drawing!
