SUMMER SHOOTOUT. The Missouri River Clay Target League is hosting the 2020 Summer Shootout on Aug. 22 for all eligible ND High School Clay Target League shooters from this season as a way of making up for a lost state championship and to kick off the fall shooting sports season. Registration is open now through July 31 The event is open to all shooters who were in grade 6-12 as of Mar. 1 and had completed at least one previous ND CTL season.
DRY WATER. The North Dakota Game & Fish Department asks boaters to drive sober this upcoming holiday weekend and to wear their life jackets and refrain from drinking while operating watercraft. 85 percent of those killed in boating accidents were not wearing PFDs, a sobering statistic.
