BADLANDS CLASSIC. The Roughrider Archers are hosting the annual Badlands Classic on August 8 and 9 just south of Exit 23 west of Medora. The 25 target 3D course will be set against the rugged backdrop of the state’s southern badlands.
STATE TRAP SHOOT. Capital City Gun Club in Bismarck will host the 2020 state trapshooting event from July 22 through 25 at its facility four miles north of Bismarck. Singles, handicap and doubles events are available in this ATA-sanctioned event.
SUMMER SHOOTOUT. The Missouri River Clay Target League will be hosting a spring make-up/fall pre-season trap event on Aug. 22 at Capital City Gun Club as well, open to all high school shooters who were eligible to participate in Spring 2020. In hopes of giving those kids an option to shoot a statewide event, after the ND CTL State Championship was cancelled, the Summer Shootout event will also get them primed for the fall league action.
