The Peluso Report: No Change Foreseen

At the moment, when it comes to walleye fishing on the Missouri River, just like the weather beacon in Bismarck: when it’s green, there’s no change foreseen!

Are there fish being caught?  Yes!  If you are willing to travel a little and get your grinding gear on.  Patience is a virtue right now to say the least.

The water is extremely low and relatively warm for this time of year.  We really need a good solid frost to snap things into fall mode.  The best part is every day that passes the walleye fishing should just get better and better; especially when the water finally cools down a bit.

Most of the fish being caught are still out in the current.  Cranks have done most of the heavy lifting the past two weeks, but we are getting a few on the jigs as well.  The further south you go on the river the better.

I have some openings coming up so if you are tough enough, get ahold of me!
