CALL IT UNSEASONABLE! A quick warm-up today will bring on spring fever after March has given us so much snow and a prolonged white season. To get you through it we go around the horn in the outdoors in today’s Three Things.

GET A GRIP. Hand-landing devices like the Boga Grip and similar vise-type jaw grabbers help handle fish with big teeth. With scales built-in they also help provide a weight as fish are lifted out of the water. Grab one and get a grip on slippery, toothy spring fish
GLIMPSES OF SPRING? Keep looking. The long-range forecast doesn’t offer much in the way of hope for a stabilizing spring. Today’s quick spike and one about a week off are all we have to savor as things stay below average and a shots or two of snow can’t be ruled out.
YOUTH IS YOURS. Some great ideas for youth events come from the examples set by the Junior Wildlife Club. Check out those and more in this week’s installment of the NDG&F’s North Dakota Outdoors web short.
