SOLID STRETCH. Aside from some light rain forecasted for Wednesday, the next week looks great for getting out in the field and closing out your fishing season. Highs in the upper fifties and generally moderate winds will help facilitate whatever it is you want to be doing in the outdoors.
HARVEST ON. A big impact on both bird and deer hunters is the state of ND’s harvest. You can get weekly updates on what’s coming down at the USDA website, with new reports issued each Monday. With the drier conditions last week, expect harvested fields to increase, and more game to hit the habitat!
DEER OUTLOOK. With the drier forecast ahead corn should be mostly down by the ND deer firearms season starting on Nov. 9. Start gearing up now, confirming your tag location and information, getting those last few rounds through your rifle for sight-in, and finding your blaze orange gear, calls and cleaning tools. Prep now for a great season!
