Daily Edge for Wed. Oct. 31

BOO! (YAY!)  Halloween will be spooky nice with light winds and highs touching 50 – a perfect day for the field before you head in to hand out candy!  If you’re looking for other treats to hand out besides tooth-rotting sugar (and we’re not talking apples or pennies) we’ve got some suggestions in today’s Three Things.

STICK-ON TARGETS.   Help kids get sighted in for deer season, and hand out small stick-on targets for all of their rifle shooting needs this fall.  Hundreds can be purchased and handed out in multiples for everything from BB guns and air rifles on up to .22 and smaller centerfire rifles.

GEAR BAGS.  Drawstring gear bags are great for packing extra field clothes, survival kits and keeping things organized and ready to grab for a quick foray.  At just over a buck a piece, these make great gifts in place of candy, and can hold any EXTRA candy that the night brings.

FLASHLIGHTS.  Small flashlights are a necessity for anyone venturing out early or coming in late and have more uses indoors as well.  At around $1.30 each, they’re a bit of a splurge, but they fit in with the Halloween festivities as well.

All Treats, No Tricks! Stay Sharp.
