DAY RATING:
BUCK MOON. If fireworks are canceled in your area, there’s still a celestial event going on. The full “buck moon” – so named for the developing antlers on male deer this time of year – will be shrouded with the edge of earth’s shadow tonight, taking on a darker glow. Watch for it from around 10 pm to 1 am.
BUCK BOOK. Check out DEO’s Nick Simonson talking about the Big Buck Book with Paul McDonald on KOVC. Celebrating all of last year’s incredible hunts and big bucks and previewing what’s to come this fall, the Big Buck Book can be pre-ordered now at bigbuckbook.com.
BUCK FEVER? We’ll be running hot the next week as temperatures stay in the 80s and low 90s right on into next weekend. Tuesday will be the cool day with highs in the lower 80s, and a return to the 90s by next weekend. Stay cool!
