OUTDOORS ROUNDUP:

CREEPING CLOSER.  The Minnesota DNR finds another lake with zebra mussels present.  Long Lake near Detroit Lakes was determined to have established populations of the aquatic nuisance species and is located about an hour east of Fargo, N.D.

MT LICENSE CHANGES.  The Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks explains changes to excess licenses available to residents and visiting hunters.  The new system represents a change over previous years and offers more opportunities for deer, elk and pronghorn.

COLOR UP.  A frequent debate in our boat and surely many others – how many colors are needed when it comes to tackle choices.  Bassmaster.com takes on the discussion in a great article addressing the importance of lure hues.
